Contact SupportClean Captures
Clean Captures help you remove visual noise like cookie banners, popups, ads, and floating widgets so screenshots and videos focus only on what matters.
Many modern websites show overlays that change frequently and block content. Clean Captures ensure your automated screenshots remain clear, comparable, and useful over time.
What Clean Captures do
- • Remove cookie consent banners
- • Hide chat widgets and floating buttons
- • Block modal popups and interstitials
- • Prevent ads from covering content
These actions happen before the final screenshot or video is produced.
How it works
- 1. Page loads using the selected Web Profile
- 2. Built-in blockers suppress common popups and ads
- 3. Optional selector-based hides are applied
- 4. Final capture is generated
Clean Captures are deterministic — the same rules apply on every run, improving consistency.
Using selectors for clean results
For site-specific overlays, you can hide elements explicitly using selectors:
- • SelectorHide — hide banners, chat widgets, or ads
- • SelectorClick — dismiss dialogs or consent modals
These selectors run automatically during every capture.
When to use Clean Captures
- • Compliance and legal archiving
- • Visual regression monitoring
- • Competitor tracking
- • Long-term website archiving
