Storage & Delivery

Naming & Folder Structure

Every screenshot and video is saved using a predictable naming pattern and folder layout, making it easy to browse, sort, and audit captures in your cloud storage.

Naming and folder structure are applied automatically during delivery. You do not need to manually rename files or move them after upload.

File naming

Each capture file name is generated using a consistent pattern so that files remain unique and sortable.

Typical file name format

domain-name__yyyy-mm-dd__hh-mm-ss.format
  • • Domain name is derived from the scheduled URL
  • • Date and time reflect the actual capture time
  • • Format is based on capture type (PNG / JPG / MP4)

Folder structure

Files are placed inside the folder defined in the Cloud Storage Profile. Additional subfolders may be created automatically to keep large archives manageable.

Example structure

/WebsiteScreenshotWorld
└── silhouettec.com
    └── silhouettec.com__2025-12-19__18-27-11.png
  • • Root folder is selected during integration setup
  • • Domain-based folders group related pages
  • • Date folders keep long-running schedules organized

Multiple schedules & collisions

File names include timestamps, so multiple schedules capturing the same URL will never overwrite each other.

  • • Every run produces a new file
  • • No overwriting of previous captures
  • • Safe for high-frequency schedules

Consistency across providers

Naming and folder logic is consistent across all supported storage providers:

  • • Google Drive
  • • Dropbox
  • • S3-compatible storage

This ensures identical archive layouts regardless of destination.
