Storage & Delivery

Dropbox

Dropbox integration lets you automatically deliver screenshots and videos into your Dropbox account, making it easy to share, review, and archive captures.

Automatic file uploadsWorks with screenshots & videosFolder-based organizationSecure OAuth connection

When Dropbox is selected as a destination, every capture is uploaded automatically after completion. Dropbox becomes your primary archive — no local downloads or manual transfers are required.

What is the Dropbox integration?

The Dropbox integration connects Website Screenshot World to your Dropbox account using a secure OAuth authorization. Files are uploaded directly into a folder you choose.

  • • Supports image and video captures
  • • Compatible with personal and team Dropbox accounts
  • • Files behave like normal Dropbox files
  • • No additional storage limits imposed by us

How delivery works

  1. 1. A Shot Schedule triggers a capture
  2. 2. The output file is generated (image or video)
  3. 3. The Web Profile selects Dropbox as destination
  4. 4. The file is uploaded into the configured Dropbox folder
  5. 5. The schedule completes successfully

Upload occurs immediately after the capture finishes.

Folder behavior

Files are placed into the folder selected when creating the Cloud Storage Profile. Optional subfolders may be created automatically based on naming and structure settings.

  • • One Dropbox folder per Cloud Storage Profile
  • • Multiple schedules can write to the same folder
  • • File names reflect URL, date, and time

Permissions & access

Access is limited to the folder scope granted during authorization.

  • • No access to unrelated Dropbox content
  • • Authorization can be revoked at any time
  • • Connection health is monitored automatically
