Some pages load content gradually or extend infinitely. Scroll & Timeout controls help the browser wait, scroll, and pause correctly before capturing.
Scroll & Timeouts focus on waiting long enough for content to appear and scrolling correctly so the final capture reflects what a real user would see.
Page timeout
Page Timeout defines the maximum time the system waits for a page to load and become interactive.
- • Prevents jobs from hanging indefinitely
- • Applies to navigation and rendering
- • Especially useful for slow backends
If the timeout is reached, the capture may retry or fail depending on stability settings.
Scroll behavior
Scrolling controls how the browser moves through the page before capturing.
- • Automatic scroll for full-page screenshots
- • Step-based scrolling for long pages
- • Triggers lazy-loaded images and sections
Scroll delay
Scroll Delay adds a pause between scroll steps to allow content to load.
- • Useful for infinite scroll pages
- • Allows images and data to render
- • Prevents blank or half-loaded areas
When to use Scroll & Timeouts
- • Pages with lazy-loaded images
- • Infinite scrolling feeds
- • Data-heavy dashboards
- • Long marketing or content pages
